Nose: Sweet, doughy bread, fuity like a hint of cooked apple and strawberries. Lastly a bit of creamy vanilla like that that sometimes is found in a creme brulee. Just a tiny bit of cinnamon sugar at the end.
Palate: lots of apricots and a tinge of lemon zestiness. A sweetness emerges and the taste of milk chocolate covered strawberries.
Finish: Similar to the palate with a little bit of cinnamon and star anise but not in an overly spicy way. A little herbal on the retrohale after a sip.
Enjoyed the nose more than the palate but not a bad dram at all!
