Nose: Very much a Macallan, lots of sherry and a caramel like sweetness. Some freshness of an orange peel.
Palate: More sherry on the palate. Again very classic Macallan profile. Has a nice aged character to it. More orange zest and a touch of dark chocolate.
Finish: Not as long of a finish as you’d expect. More of that dark chocolate mixes with some salted nuts and the sherry. As it opens more it’s complexity heightens.
