Uncorking- Nose Coming across a bit muted for me. Sharp alcohol traditional vanilla caramel. Must have a touch of rye because I'm getting some green grass notes. Taste- more woody in taste than nose hinted at, caramel, sharp spices, actually tastes above 100 proof. Bit sharp and spikes on the tongue. Nothing rounded off here at all. Lots of flavor and it's a good flavor. If you told me it's 3x the price and 15% higher proof I'd have believed you on both accounts. I didn't expect to like it but this is acceptable neat and would be fantastic for a mixer. At this price I wouldn't cringe at someone making a bourbon and cola with it but be a waste of the quality.
