So far, it's good, but not much more than that. The nose is very good, with the Talisker leathery peat blending nicely with plums and spice. Nice oily mouth feel but the flavor is weak and a disappointment. Opens up a bit with 3 or 4 drops of water, but not too much (I drowned my first glass). Medium finish more of a singular warm glow. Not bad, but not big flavor I was expecting from a Talisker. Enjoyed the Port Ruighe much more, but not going back to the UK anytime soon, so oh well. I will enjoy the rest of the bottle, but replace it with something else.
