Smoke Wagon Straight Bourbon

Nose: Very “pretty”. A floral, honey bouquet amidst the usual bourbon aromas. Caramel, oaky, cherry, etc.
Taste: More of the same notes from the aroma are present in the taste. A little more herbal and mildly spicy from the slight rye influence. Very easy to sip. Very friendly. Not much that presents a challenge (and that isn’t a bad thing).
Finish: Medium-long. Leaves you wanting to taste again. Sweet oaky tannins and caramel/honey sweetness.
Overall: Smoke Wagon is one to look for. Although this is the “most basic” expression of the current lineup, you won’t be disappointed. And for the price, it is up there with others like WT101, BT, ER10, etc for best bang for buck.
I have had Smoke Wagon UU. This is the tamed down, yet still delicious, little brother. Easy sipper.
Would definitely recommend.

I wasn't aware that there was such variation in ER10 @jonwilkinson7309 . Do you know if any of the other BT products have substantial variation?
Great review! I have a bottle, but have yet to write a review. I may have to copy yours. The ER10 is a very interesting comparison. I've found that the ER10 bottles vary, and I'd love to try the two side by side. It's a great value!
I keep hearing good things about smoke wagon :) I'm always thrown off that people don't describe it as smoky though :P
