Heavy but not overbearing. Sits well on the tongue and exemplifies classic bourbon traits. Vanilla, cherry, licorice, and spice. Pleasant and somewhat floral on the nose. On the way down there is some character that the small batch lacked. Spice, love the spice. My trouble with most bourbons is that most of what I've tried haven't really stood out from the rest, but I would have to say this a good bottle to become acquainted with :D
