So a unique mash bill on a bourbon made god knows where. 130 bucks for 15 year CS bouron...at least that seems reasonable.
Nose - Orchard fruits, sweet sugars, of course your caramel and vanilla. A lighter profile but very gentle and inviting.
Taste - I don't think it's barton lol....as that seems to be ALL the 12-15 year old juice coming out lately. But it could be? There's this nutty finish and a sweet, really sweet clean candy up front. There's oak on the back end but we're far from too much oak. Spicy notes on the finish, super sweet up front. Dang this is a tasty bourbon. Just well done mix of sweet, spice, and a touch of dusty notes. The funny thing is this very well could have been aged another 5 years
I gave a 3.25 to this year's 2020 four roses. I'm going to give this one the same score. It's not better, in many ways it is less complex, but it's also really well done in a lot of ways. More importantly, it is less flawed.
If you see this one, 2600 bottles...buy it.

@BeppeCovfefe nice, I picked up a backup myself.
@dhsilv2 based on your review and my experience with the SiB-proof, I've pulled the trigger on the 15 year. Review to come but I can already tell this is a bottle I'm going to be pretty happy with.
Trying this right now, the sample claims 109 proof making it the SiB I guess. I don't think it's HH or BT which almost leave Bartons as one of the main potentials it does have some of that dusty note Bartons is well known for. My sample doesn't have much nose but whats there is nice. The 15 year does say "Kentucky sourced" assuming they are being honest and it isn't MGP, Beam or Bartons, yes those make sense.
@Bourbon_Obsessed_Lexington it does, but the 78.5% corn is something I can't find on sourse anywhere. The profile however is 100% beam. There is ZERO doubt in my mind that this is beam, but EPIC beam.
@dhsilv2 did this one I’ve a mash mill on it somewhere? I feel like I saw it somewhere and it resembled the Bernheim bill, making me think it could be the cask strength IW Harper I’ve wanted to see for a long time. The price would align with a CS IWH and if I had space in the pantry I’d bring it home but sadly the inn is full at the moment.
adding in this is almost certainly beam.
