Nose - spearmint, maple syrup, cinnamon, sweet vanilla, butterscotch, marshmallow, light oak, subtle thyme, moderate ethanol burn.
Taste - maple syrup, salted caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, oak notes, moderate to high alcohol bite, finishing quickly with sweet maple syrup, caramel, and young alcohol flavors.
This is better than the one year old bourbon, but not by much. It’s a bit richer and not as cloying as its younger counterpart, but nothing to right home about.

I didn't even know they had a rye @ctbeck11 . I'm hoping it's a hidden gem, but not betting on it.
@ContemplativeFox I get to try the rye next. Don’t have high hopes.
Yeah, that price they're asking is absurd. Even at $15, it's up against Evan WIlliams BiB and there's no way it's on that level. @ctbeck11
@ContemplativeFox If this were priced under $15, I could imagine it being an extreme budget option for a two year olds bourbon. But at $25, this is up against some really solid, bonded options that are much better.
Not great, but I kind of thought (hoped) it would be more than the tiniest bit better. Not a brand worth buying.
