A really fantastic every day scotch. Very affordable and easy to drink. Fruity with vanilla notes, not very peaty but enough for a little kick. More reminiscent of some of the better Irish whiskies (like Redbreast) than a typical peated scotch. This makes it good for those just getting into scotch, especially if you’re intimated by the peat in island single malts. It’s hard to do better in scotch for the $35-$40 range than Jura 10.
