This bottle blew me away. Hits the tip of your tongue and the front of your palate with immediate depth and complexity, delivering a sweet bite that leaves you craving the next sip. Crisp green apple, honey, raisins/dates, pepper spice. The peat is also there but very hidden, just enough to notice it. Although, with everything else going on in the bottle, that’s not a complaint. I dare say it’s the best blended whisky I’ve had.
