Trying a pour again after the bottle has had a chance to open up some. Enjoying neat
Nose - heavy alcohol burn. A lot of spices, rye, and brown sugar. There is also a heap of mint which can be mistaken for a spicy burn of ethanol.
Taste - baking spices, rye and vanilla up front. Fruity and floral in the middle and the finish is medium. Very dry and bitter finish. This is much better this go around but still not one of my favorites.
Overall - hard to find bourbon for 50$ in my area. The nose and taste are both unique but just don’t fit my palate profile. Nonetheless it’s a unique juice.

The floral note takes my tongue on a ride like Im riding down Route 66 after I escaped my mother in laws knitting party
