This smells so much better than it tastes, which is a bit disappointing in the end.
Nose: caramel, maple syrup, nutmeg, and French toast crunch cereal, because the nose is almost artificial
Taste: too light and mild overall. Mostly just a pinch of rye spice profile, cocoa powder, brown sugar. I'm really reaching here to find anything descriptive. It's smooth but boring. Overall, there's nothing about this that makes me want to come back for more.
Overrated is an understatement

Wow, what a huge disappointment! I'd expected this be at least adequate considering the price.
@BeerNinjaEsq Which release? I’ve heard the 2019 was exceptional and contemplated pulling the trigger if I can find one but I’m still not convinced this series overall is worth the prices in general.
@PBMichiganWolverine yup
Overpriced as well...
