Rich and complex, definitely some heat but at 125 proof and a very reasonable price tag , I'm not complaining. added a bit of water and that balanced things out. Very comparable to Elijah Craig Barrel Proof, but I think I give this the slight nod. I have never been disappointed with 1792. small batch and BIB both punch above their weight and this just adds to the rep.
