Nose- Nutty with notes of vanilla and oak Palate- Heavy mouthfeel and slightly oily. Starts with brown sugar and oak notes. As it lingers the sweetness turns to spice and clove. Finish- smooth finish with notes of spices and the vanilla returns. Overall- A nice sipping whiskey, it will be interesting to see how the bourbon matures. At 4 years it is a nice whiskey and it will be fun to see what it turns out to be at 9 years.
