25/02/2017. MOM sample. Nose -- maple 🍁, mint oil, creme brulee, muscovado sugar, burnt caramel. Palette -- roller-coaster. Sweet --> mint --> wood --> dry. Not an everyday drinker. Small quantities. Needs watering. After watering, becomes more rounded, rich hot toffee and some star anise

Various fruits and raisin on the front 9. Sweet. Develops into fresh spearmint with some long heat.

Sweet and smooth, not as good as the barrel strength. However lovely and rich.

Massive concentration of flavour. Thick, viscous. Smoother than the 10 yr. Reminds me of W L Weller BTAC. loooooong. Could only drink a small measure.

Sweet, spicy, rich, long, syrupy. Hot sweet juicy cherries, some dark chocolate notes at the end. Truely delicious.

Underwhelming for a Rye. Disappointing given the quality of the Michters range.
