Tastes

I prefer sweeter bourbons so not a favorite, although was an enjoyable glass, especially sharing with a friend and discussing the taste. It opens up relatively smooth, with oak and cinnamon spice flavours dominating. A fairly long and complex spicy finish with some pleasant burn.

A solid Rye. Quite mild on the nose which was surprising. Enters smooth - oak, cinnamon and dried fruits, a slight sweetness. The Rye heat comes at the end and is long. Very pleasant. Great on a cold night.

Sweet, lots of vanilla, buttery, creamy, smooth. A slight spice at the end gives it another pleasant dimension.
