    Tasted neat in a rock glass. Nose is really floral with a little oak/wood. The first sip is really heavy on the floral notes. Floral notes calm down with more of a grassy/woody note taking over. Finish is short and nothing great. Great for a Gin & Tonic but not horrible to sip either.

    Very solid scotch. Some honey and smokiness on the nose. Same honey sweetness and more smoke on the palate. Short finish but for 30 US dollars you could not go wrong with a bottle of JW Black. Great everyday sipper.
