Glenfiddich 18 Year Our Small Batch Eighteen
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed December 17, 2021Absolutely lovely. Fairly light amber which isn’t the best I’ve seen, but such fresh, sweet vanilla notes in the nose. Slight smokiness on the palate with a sweeter finish. Very very nice, so sweet and syrupy. -
Dalmore 15 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed December 9, 2021 (edited December 13, 2021)Lovely dark amber colour, very appealing bottle. Aromas of orange, cinnamon & nutmeg with a palate of strong vanilla and ginger & mandarin notes towards the end. Finish of dark chocolate. Light, sweet and easy to drink, would definitely go back. -
Jura Red Wine Cask Finish
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed September 21, 2021 (edited July 9, 2022)Lots of red wine notes mingled with whisky and a nice dark amber colour. Not a huge deal coming after that to be honest but with a dry finish. Lots of nose, but sadly not much thereafter.
