Reviewed August 25, 2016 (edited April 26, 2018)Nose is quite clearly of ripe banana, vanilla, spice, sweet apple. This is a great whisky to nose. The taste is spicy. Couple drops of water makes it really nice and smooth. 3.5/5 Tasted at the Balvenie Masterclass at the Hill Center, DC, on 8/25/2016 -

Reviewed August 25, 2016 (edited August 26, 2016)Nose: vanilla, green apple, some spice Taste: very very smooth. Not much bite. Little bit of toffee, woody. Mellower version of the 12, with stronger finish. A little water adds some punch to the finish. No need for a bottle. Tasted at the Balvenie Masterclass at the Hill Center, DC, on 8/25/2016 -
