Very easy sipper. Had mine neat; gathered notes of vanilla, some caramel, mild floral notes, and maybe a hint of tobacco and mild leather on the finish, mixed with dried apricots? Nevertheless, decent bourbon at a fair price, if you enjoy the earth-ier stuff.

Tasted this neat, and with one single ice cube; this bourbon, in my opinion, tastes better with ice. Slightly sweet, oily mouth feel, with your typical caramel and vanilla tasting notes, followed by raisins(?) on the mid pallate. Maybe a little cinnamon. Finish is medium, and fairly smooth, with the ice. I'm not good at recognizing aromas, so I don't have any notes in respect to that. Overall, this is an excellent daily drinker, considering I got my bottle at $40 msrp. Almost reminds me if the excellent Makers 46.
