Tastes

Having this for the first time in a while. This is really light and smooth with a ton of fruit and gummy bears. The gummy bear reference or dried fruit candies is almost tough to enjoy.

Nose and taste of peat, smoke, seaweed and smoke pork. Very light gold in the glass.

This has very certainly grown on me. After a third of the way through the bottle it opened up and now I am getting a beautiful rye will all the rye notes and spice. This is fantastic. Great value here. A classic Canadian Rye. Highly recommended but will look for the cask strength to compare because I want more oomph in this blend.

I think this is well done. Nose of rye and rum. Very good value.

The taste has not much of anything and uneventful. There is no taste of the spice, nor the vanilla, nor the fullness of this whisky. The nose is fairly medicinal and can't make anything else from it. Everything that I am tasting and smelling is the complete opposite from what I have heard and read. Maybe this is a bad batch or something. I will have to try this again from another batch.

This is all vanilla and spicy in the nose and taste. Little burn. Good flavour close to bourbon.

Ok for mix and on rocks.

It has the sweet, fruit, and enough spice to smooth out the whisky. This is good stuff.

It's got the spice and the sweet. Very good classic bourbon.
