The first whiskey I could stand to drink neat or on the rocks. I enjoyed Irish coffees and a personal concoction with Irish creme quite a lot.

My first gin. I found it appealing enough to consistently return to when trying to learn my cocktail palate. It really helped turn me onto the Tom Collins.

It is an interesting flair but it caused a slightly unpleasant funkiness of flavor in my Tom Collins’ compared to the Bombay Sapphire I was using before.
