Light honey color Oak char nose Very forward oak bomb medium mouth feel to complex flavors of lavender, to vanilla. With cube the mouth feel stays the same but as predicted the complexity unfolds still very floral to bubble yum / cinnamon finish that is pleasing and long even for a lower proof. This is easy one to have on hand for daily and friendly drinking specially at the price point.

Light color, clean nose (mostly alcohol) Thin mouthfeel Mid palette baking spice / black pepper / cedar (tannic), quick finish with light Big Red chewing gum With small cube Light leather nose / maybe Tobacco With the cube it becomes almost lighter than water heavy cinnamon light vanilla again quick finish with of lavender and leather. The finish almost is drying in the mouth. Needs the cube to come alive but even at 100 proof it’s too thin to go much more than a single small cube too much ice and I think everything washes away. Interesting this Mash Bill: 72% Corn, 18% Rye, 10% Malted Barley because the baking spice / pepper is so strong I would have pegged this with more rye. Other reviews mention this as super complex with a medium mouth feel, but I just don’t see it. Overall easy drinker wouldn’t hunt for it but wouldn’t walk away.

Chocolate on the nose Dark chocolate, tannic spice finish. Quick finish to almost flat Thin mouth feel might be due to lower proof 80. Dark leather brown color With ice Heavy baking spice / clove flavor almost floral to watery ink. Strange mouth feel Most likely due to the additional port added to the blend. This would probably be great at a higher proof.

Light nose with a hint of sweetness. Heavy vanilla, butterscotch (withers original), hits dry on the mouth, long satisfying finish, heat with a light floral note
