Named after Jim Beam's grandson, Booker Noe, this bourbon is one hell of a tribute. Don't let the proof scare you; this bourbon is nothing but a pleasure to drink and is a perfect choice for the holiday season. Below are my tasting notes. Enjoy! Nose: Hints of oak, vanilla, marzipan, molasses, rye, pepper, citrus, and pecan. Palate: Extremely potent; lots of spicey goodness that features pepper and rye. Citrus notes make another appearance as well as charred oak. Finish: Just as intense as the nose and palate. Rye and pepper notes strongly linger and fade into flavors of brisket, vinegar, pecans, and baking soda.
