Tastes

Golden light color. Very beautiful. Strong smells of oak and to a lesser extent fruits like pear and apple. Taste-wise, it’s sweet right off the bat. Vanilla and Carmel coming through. The pear and apple fruits are there along with some floral notes. Heat comes at the end but not overwhelming. A smooth finish.

Honey hits first. Then orange. Then sweets. A little Smokey on the finish. No real heat. Overall, a very pleasant sipper.

Very sweet. Strong notes and tastes of vanilla and custard. Really enjoying this one.

This is growing on me. Still a good bit of heat, but as the bottle empties, I’m picking up more sweet flavors like vanilla and cake.

Maybe I’m basic, but I think this is the ideal bourbon. Just the right of sweet and heat.

Smoky and oaky in all the best ways. Just the right amount of sweet. Very little bit. All and all, a great glass.

Gave this another try. Previously, the oak flavor overwhelmed me. On second try, I’m still getting lots of oak in both the nose and taste, but also leather, bread, and cake flavors. A fun twist on Woodford classic, but I think I still prefer the regular offering.

Tastes of brownies and pudding. At 100 proof unsurprisingly has quite a bit of kick both in the taste and finish. A fun bottle and great homage to Cooper dog.

Easy sipping. Almost no ethanol on the nose or taste. Picking up raspberries and honey. Vanilla. Not spicy at all, which I’m ok with.

Very sweet. Getting strong caramel and apple pie. Good bit of spice on the finish. A very enjoyable glass.
