I really wanted to try this one, so here it goes: Colour: Deep gold/ Light amber Nose: Softer than expected, but it’s complex. It has all the notes you would expect like vanilla, oak, honey, toffee, cereal, but it also has some floral hints and the very obvious tropical notes, specially coconut and pineapple, but I also got banana and even hints of papaya. In a way, It smells like a fruit salad, but very subtle. Taste: Coherent with the nose, feels smooth, silky, but not as much as I would expect for a 21 y/o. For people starting with whisky it would be very easy to drink neat, doesn’t have any “bite”. Maybe if it had a higher ABV it would be more bold, more obvious, but I don’t dislike it. I think it feels a bit luxurious. Some people might find it too lacking for the price though. End: long and warm, honey and cereal lingering in the mouth.275.0 USD per BottleDepósito Libre de Golfito

Highland Park 18 Year Viking Pride Travel Edition
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed May 3, 2026Colour is deep gold, almost amber. Smell is very balanced: vanilla, toffee, candied fruit, roasted nuts, butter, like shortbread, with a hint of smoke and saltiness. Taste is also very well ballanced, but full bodied, a bit spicier than expected, is has a long end more on the woody side. Doesn’t feel as creamy as other single malts of the same age, but is a great whisky at an incredible good price.140.0 USD per BottleDepósito Libre de Golfito -
Medium amber colour, clear and pretty. Smells wonderful, like a baked apple pie, sweet and warm, but balanced, not aggressive at all. In contrast, feels a bit simple in palate which is dissapointing, not so complex as expected, it has a mid body, with a long end, warm and sweet. It’s a very good choice for starters at a good price.1.0 USD per Bottle

Light amber bringht in colour, It’s a bit agrresive in nose and taste. This one is on the toasty side, not so fruity, mostly vainilla and maybe a soft hint of citrus. Strong notes of grain, peat and salt, really smoky. The body doesn’t feel as rich and creamy. The end is not long and not impressive. It’s not bad, but definitely overpriced.Depósito Libre de Golfito

It has less bite than the 15 yo but the flavors and taste are more complex while it’s still well balanced. It feels thicker and richer in the mouth. Strong notes of vanilla, honey, chocolate, coffee, hints of baked peaches with spices, specially nutmeg, and of course lingering woody note from the oak.
