Lovely aroma! The vanilla and sweet bourbon aromas come through nicely and is not overtaken by the smoke. Palate is surprisingly mellow. A bit lacking in aftertaste. The peat is present in the aftertaste. Nice!

A very underrated whisky. Lovely complex nose - sweet fruity with sultanas and molasses. Oily texture and nice warmth. Peat is super light. Just enough to enrich the nose. Very enjoyable and excellent value for money.

Nose is typical sweet Balvenie. Fruity and floral but a bit flat. Body is not so full as expected from a 21 year old. Finish is spicy. Still a great dram but should have been better.

Good bourbon but nothing unseen. Shouldn’t have watered it down to 43%. I can imagine with a bit more punch would be a better one. Good strong aroma though a bit generic. Full body.

A truly wonderful drink. Aroma is is gentle and complex and the juniper is a lovely addition without stealing the show. But the real pleasure is in the taste. Lovely gin.

That has got to be some of the richest aromas I have experienced with a whisky. Lovely peach jam, quince and dried figs. Though lacking in taste and balance a bit, a lovely dram nevertheless.
