Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed November 6, 2020Intense salty, citrus, seaside notes. Unpeated whisky but still a smoky taste. Sweet undertones with peach and honey. Even some butter and toffee but hard to find. Salt and pepper dominate the nose and palate. Still lighter than some Islays. -
Ardbeg 10 Year

Reviewed September 25, 2020 (edited September 27, 2020)Light in colour. Strong in taste. Smoky and peaty, with a citrus edge. Dominant lemon & salt, with fruity notes. Vanilla & bonfire smoke. Hints of pepper, chili, and liquorice. Nice blend of smoke and a touch of sweetness. Not as harsh or intense as other smoky scotch. -
