I hate to say this but I don’t love it like one hers do. It’s got some good heat but the flavor profile for me doesn’t come together ideally. It’s hot for sure. But it doesn’t play nice with an ice ball or some bittermilk. Which makes it hard to drink unless it’s your first and only dram of the night. Don’t get men wrong. I chrrrish my bottle but I’m not calling it a top 10.

The nose is certainly unique lots of mixed candies best way to describe. Drinks really well. Low heat. Nice mouth feel. I might call it a bourbon candy liquid. I m a big fan. Delicious. I’m curious to see how I feel when it’s the first dram if the night not the last (like tonight). :)Bethesda -
Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond 9 Year (Fall 2018)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 12, 2020 (edited December 11, 2020)I’m tasting this again this time next to the 13yr. The nose now seems ordinary. I can’t say enough about the nose in the 13. Taste is still lovely but I the heat lasts a little longer in the finish. I still am a big fan but I’m ur complexity of the 13 year mutes my feelings in this one.Bethesda -
