Tastes

Smells rich and peppery, tastes rich and sweet, full mouth feel with peppery notes.

Smells peppery, and sweet. Tastes very peppery and spiced full flavor, but doesn't stand up as well to many other coat comparable rye.

Smells slightly salty with sugar notes. Tastes very smooth with hints of spice, and sweetness.

Smells lightly of fruit and floral notes, and hints of anise. Smooth warm tastes of warm spices and slightly sugary notes. Leaves a warm title and a healthy mouth feel.

Smells sweet and not overtly assertive. Tastes smooth with spice notes, char notes are present. Leaves a slight tingling sensation in the mouth.

Smell isn't all that impressive, taste is assertive but smooth and reminds me of caramel(My wife occasionally makes caramel with this whiskey)

After adding a single ice cube, previously we had attempted to sample the black Prince and were decidedly unimpressed. Smells heavily of sweet notes, primarily fruit based with spice, but bound together with inequitable sweet notes. Tastes were tempered and refined greatly with the addition of the ice chip. It is now sweeter and more rounded. There is much more fruit notes bound together with black tea, spice and citrus, truely a taste for a Prince. as part of a flight

Smells largely of winter fruit with rye notes and hints of spice. Tastes much more mellow than 10 year, heavy rye/spice notes are mellowed by presence of fruit notes. Processed as part of a flight

Smells of peppery spice notes with hints of sweetness, tastes of heavier rye and spiced pepper notes. My wife made a big deal about this bourbon, both as a Beam fan and a rye fan, this may have turned me.
