Shelter Point Artisanal Cask Strength Whisky
Canadian — British Columbia, Canada
Reviewed September 28, 2022 -
Been awhile since I’ve had this. Probably bumping up my rating since trying MANY other scotches since this first hit my palate. If Lowland whiskies were regularly close this, the Lowland region would be the most sought after & be raved about like the Speysides and Islays are. Slowly sipping this bottle till it comes back to Canada

Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye
Canadian — Alberta, Canada
Reviewed August 27, 2022 (edited May 15, 2023)Fiery. Haven’t had many cask strength rye whiskies, but my palate has become accustomed to this. On bottle #2 (started bottle #1 about a year ago), and probably enjoy it more now. Drop or 5 or water to mellow it out is key. -

Shelter Point Single Cask Rye
Rye — Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada
Reviewed August 7, 2022Cask #6. 57.9%. 1oz sample. Doesn’t hit hard like a near-60% rye, but all the taste is there. Can actually sip this neat without needing much of a break.
