As a bourbon novice, I really enjoyed the flavor. Cavehill doesn't have the typical tannins or spicy backend of most bourbon, especially high-rye bourbon. As a consequence, it does lack serious depth as the finish is short. However, it is pleasantly honey sweet and lacks any harsh, sharp flavors. At 95 proof, don't expect to find much oak or spice, but the outright lack can be a letdown to some.70.0 USD per Bottle

George Dickel 13 Year Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whisky (Fall 2008)
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed June 20, 2023 (edited April 11, 2024)Wow. I had low expectations coming into this one based upon some whiskey-tubers reviews, but after one session with this bottle on-site at the distillery in Tullahoma, it blew me away. This is an impressive whiskey. The Flintstone Vitamin note that chases a lot of people away fades as the bottle opens up. So, I encourage everyone to look past it on your first few pours; or to maybe even embrace it. The more you drink of it, the more your senses can take over and find the other sweet, delicious flavors that are packed into each sip.Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. - Home of George Dickel Tennessee Whisky
