Nose -Fresh oak, orange peel, bananas, and cherries with a sweet aroma Body - Oily, sweet corn, full of flavor, baking spices, cinnamon, oaky, with some light smoke Finish - long with notes of tobacco and orange with a nice burn on the tongue Overall - Yet another wonderful release from the Willet distillery. At 100 proof, it's bold compared to their pot still bourbon, with a wonderful mouth feel and it's a great value!

NOSE – Sweet, light smoke, apricots, honey, and stewed apples BODY – Gentle start and builds to a nice full finish, soft, syrupy, prunes FINISH – Medium long finish and a fruity end OVERALL – A nice balance between fruit, peat, and smoke! I can see why this is such a loved scotch and is a great value! This would be a nice entry for the younger pallet into the stronger Islay offerings.

NOSE – Honey, hint of Vanilla, Briny like the ocean air BODY – white pepper, barley, briny, red licorice, hay, velvety FINISH – long, honey, light smoke at the very end OVERALL – A consistent product throughout! It's not the most complex scotch (this does't mean it's simple, however), but it does what it sets out to do very well. The nose could be the definition of what to expect in a "classic" scotch. Absolutely wonderful! It made me want to keep coming back for another glass.
