Tastes

Feb 12, 2018. First taste tonight from bottle Lex brought back from Edmonton. Nose: Strong sweet notes right away, candy apple, brown sugar, some alcohol smell but subdued. Taste: Heavy sweetness in a good way. Thick. Finish: Can bite if you want it to, nice tingle in the mouth. Feels good on the way down. Overall: New addition to the daily rotation.

Tasted Feb 10, 2018. Dad’s bottle, picked up at Sobey’s Emerald Park. Easy pour. Nose dominated by rubber inflatables, vanilla and light spices. Carries to taste with some caramel and dark rum on the tongue. Easy finish. Would pick up a bottle.

N: cherry, whole wheat bread crusts, play-doh P: F: Spice, but warms your body in a nice way, like putting in a sweater. Decent length. Some oak.
