Tastes

First 2 oz pour. Pretty damn good. Has that usual Jim Beam taste profile so I didn’t find it very unique. I didn’t find it as “hot” as some people say but it’s certainly no mediocre rye. Looking forward to trying again with a few drops of water. I’ll probably buy another bottle.

Slightly better flavours coming through compared to regular Makers but I got a real intense alcohol smell in the finish. Perhaps with some air time it will lessen.

Best bourbon I’ve had in a long time. Cinnamon. Nutmeg. Caramel. Creme brûlée. Pretty hot neat but if you add a drop or two of water it is still fantastic. I really need to find a bottle of this.

Pretty hot. Drop of water rounded it out nicely. Great flavours but not quite a 4 imo. I’d like to try it again though.

Solid 10 year bourbon. I think everyone loves these wheaters as they’re less spicy than the rye bourbons. Great stuff but not worth secondary.
