RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"Knob Creek Cask Strength Straight Rye will be a welcome find for BTAC fans. A very hot aroma of heavily caramelized sugars, char hash marks, sap, and soaked wood. Give it a sniff blind you might mistake it for Sazerac or George T. Stagg. The palate is equally bold. Charred meat, roasted rye grain, pressed vanilla, and aggressive tannins. Adding some water adds some much needed sweetness and buttered shortbread."
