Ninety percent I’ll spend on good times, Scotch and Irish Whiskey. The other 10 percent I’ll probably waste.

4-5 = various degrees of Great 3-4 = various degrees of Good 2-3 = various degrees of OK 1-2 = various degrees of Bad 0-1 = various degrees of Shit Any 3-5 = I'd be prepared to recommend.

The Whiskritic

For bourbon and single malt whisky a rating of 2.5 means “average”. Anything rated 3 or more is worth a taste, anything rated 4 or more is recommended. For blended scotch the average is 1.5, and anything rated 3 or more is recommended.
