I didn't dare for Old Tub, the flavor didn't agree with my palate.

My first time trying this amazing bourbon was on a trip to the LA area in November 2019. I knew that this was going to be an amazing offering after the first sip. This has been one of my favorites, from day one. I keep a few bottles on the shelf, that's how much I like this Knob Creek version. I highly recommend.

I was a fan of the small batch so this was a no brainer. I like that each bottle gives you the exact age of the bourbon.

I lucked up on my first bottle when I went to Los Angeles to see family and friends. I'm admittedly a huge Knob Creek fan, but this expression totally surprised me and immediately became my favorite.

Untitled Whiskey No. 13, a 10-year old high rye bourbon rested in a combination of Cognac, Spanish brandy, Amontillado, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherries. The nose on this whiskey is bright and fresh, reminiscent of expressed grapefruit peel and maple sap. The palate starts with candied orange peel before richer, fruitier notes of blackberry jam and maraschino cherries appear. The finish stays on the tongue long after swallowing with hints of chestnut honey and tiramisu.

I was able to find a few bottles for $44 and decided to purchase one to see if it lives up to the reviews. After the first bottle, I eventually purchased three more. I'm happy that the people in my area have no knowledge of the Double Cask. It's that dang good

This is a remarkable bourbon with well rounded edges. Some people try to compare with the regular small batch and the single barrel but this expression stands on its own.

I enjoyed a few pours with a Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro cigar and they complimented each other very well. Bold and bursting with tobacco, vanilla and toffee...this is a great pour.

This is freaking amazing. I have to admit, initially, I wasn't overly impressed. However, it has become well balanced after letting the bottle sit on the shelf for a few weeks. I'm going to buy another bottle. Cheers
