Before Prohibition, Jim Beam was known as Old Tub. The name change was probably for the best. Now, Beam pays tribute to their earlier incarnation with this 375ml 4-year-old bottled in bond offering available only at their American Stillhouse shop in Clermont, Kentucky.

Tasting Notes

"Big oak and vanilla on the nose, with a whiff of alcohol due likely to the higher proof. In the mouth, that oak and vanilla continues to assert itself, along with a sweet corn oiliness and hint of spice. The finish packs some heat. It's all tamed into a smoother drink with a few drinks of water "
