I.W. Harper 15 Year Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 4, 2020 (edited August 16, 2020)Oak, sweet and somewhat floral. Smooth with more oak and floral notes on the palate. Not too much heat with 86 proof. -
Nose is MGP, and oak, definitely smell the age, then comes the Pinot. Taste is more oak, baking spice, tobacco, and dry Pinot. The finish is where the Pinot hangs around the most. I preferred it when I just got a hint on the nose and early when drinking. Still pretty good and definitely interesting.

The Burning Chair Bourbon
Bourbon — (bottled in) California, USA
Reviewed August 3, 2020 (edited July 31, 2021)Barrel 63 select. Tastes young, grainy. The barrel finish is evident and helps cover the young taste. It’s ok, wouldn’t seek it out. -
Blanton's Straight From the Barrel
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 27, 2020 (edited September 5, 2020)Nose is Blantons for sure, but has some heat. Cherries and cinnamon. Palate is caramel, more cherries and cinnamon. Molasses. Long finish with medium heat. Was pleasantly surprised by how good this is.
