In an old fashioned. Straight cherry vanilla cream soda. Pretty nice in a cocktail.

Belated. Abbreviated notes: Really really really nice. Gentle cinnamon nose. Spearmint and cinnamon candy, approachable spice. Loving this stuff. 5-10 more proof would be perfect but no complaints. Some lingering anise.

Belated. Abbreviated notes: ethanol nose. Deep flavors, not overly sweet. Lots of barrel notes.

Belated. Neat. Glencairn. Dark chocolate brown color. Medium to heavy body. Legs very slow to form. Dominant chocolate covered cherries on the nose, with a creamy frosted flake background. Vanilla and obvious ethanol, but not a huge singe. On the palate, again dominant cherry syrup and milk chocolate with chili pepper. Bitter orange rind. Sweet corn and vanilla. The proof tingles the entire mouth, but it is complementary and highlights the chili pepper. Just an incredible burst of flavor that is a treat to savor.

Belated. Abbreviated notes: Gomer’s Midtown (KC) store pick. Barrel #20. Classic toffee and vanilla profile, nice proof spice. Prevalent smoky barrel notes. Prefer significantly over the typical SmB.

Belated. Abbreviated notes: very sweet and simple. Easy drinking. Vanilla with a hint of peanuts.

Belated. Abbreviated notes: Thin. Light vanilla nose with noticeable peanuts. Hints of banana. No complaints.

Belated. Abbreviated notes: Very light. Intensely strong tart green apple flavor. Very gentle oak spice. Pleasant but an uncommon flavor from bourbon. Would happily sip again but hesitate before recommending to others. Price is a bit high for what it is.

Belated. Abbreviated notes: Pleasantly surprised. Light and dimple, but nothing off or challenging. May share equal dna with Canadian whiskey as it does with bourbon, but a very enjoyable sipper. Nothing off there or really noticeable from the mesquite.

Belated. Abbreviated notes: Very sweet, some bubblegum. Hint of spearmint. Again impressed for the young craft whiskey, slightly less so than for the bourbon.
