First "real" tasting of this. I'm loving the medium peat, and the underlying sweetness. A lovely note of Liquorice is coming through. I had hoped for more salty brine; a bit more of the sea, but just read this is aged away from the distillery and the sea, sadly..

Horrible, sickly stuff. tastes like chemical sweetener and little else. Thin, and bland, but sweet. Why does this sell? There are truly lovely bourbon's for less than this stuff.

Nice, I suppose, in a bourbon sort of way; still prefer Evan Black for my cocktails, which is where bourbon belongs, IMO. This is softer, with more muted flavours; nothing to write home about.
