Meh decent. Sweet on the nose, but doesn't translate on the tongue until you add some ice/water. Very sweet with a cube, with a smooth and fast finish.

Really enjoyable bourbon. Love the spice on the nose and finish, and sits on your tongue nicely.

A tasty bourbon, but the spices overpower other flavors for me. Can't really have more than one or two.

Solid go to blend. Sweetens up nicely with a drop of water.

Really tasty and smoky. Probably my favorite of the JW family. You really know you're drinking scotch. Very solid blend.

Very smooth mild scotch. Light nose and easily drinkable. Flavorful finish.

Takes a few tries to really appreciate this. The nose is overpowering at first, but as you get warmed up to it and take a few sips it really changes. The initial hit of peat mellows out on your tongue and sweetens up, into a very smooth and lasting finish. Even drinking water after your dram is more enjoyable.

Very drinkable, but flavor is a bit lacking. Not enough bite.

Very tasty single malt. A few drops of water really bring out some of the sweeter flavors.

Found this to be a bit spicier than the doublewood 12, which I preferred.
