A little bit of woody flavor like I’d expect from a scotch, with a heat that matches the proof. Under all that is a really good, complex flavor that’s there if you look for it.

Really interesting combination of dark fruit on the nose that gives way to rye and spiciness. The spicy bite really lingers on the finish. There are other soft sweet flavors mixed in there as well, making for a nicely complex bourbon.

Sweet and hot, with a taste of red cherries and sweet spice on the nose. The palate and finish move towards a leathery taste and the heat lasts. A good sipper, especially on the rocks.

On the sweeter side for a scotch, which definitely isn’t a negative. Still has that distinctive woody flavor of a scotch and has plentiful light fruit flavors to make this an easy, tasty sipper.

Definitely a full-bodied bourbon. It has a nicely balanced taste of butterscotch and caramel, leather, and orange. This one packs a punch because of the proof but it’s full of flavor and mouthfeel.
