A campfire in a pine tree filled forest. S’mores and marshmallow with the chocolate to hide the air and smooth sweetness on the end. Nose: caramel and vanilla on the front with a light cereal mix sweetness. Wood and slight smokiness Palate: smooth corn sweetness met with a peppery tingle in the middle, evening out to a spicy honey and cigar finish.

You’re upstate and you decide to talk an easy stroll through a meadow with a freshly mowed path that winds through it. The wild flowers, hay, and fresh grass give a sweetness and ease to the air. Nose: grass, slight slight peat, honey, vanilla, floral, banana Palate: smooth and easy on the front with silky vanilla and light oak characteristics. Small pepper and anise. Good oak and soft caramel finish. Overall this has been my favorite must always have SB/7+year bourbon. For $30 it’s very tough to beat, especially when it comes to easy and smooth drink ability that has depth and breadth.

You lean down into your plate of ribs and smell the molasses and cherry sweetness of the sauce. On the side is sweet cornbread and baked beans. All mingling together in a sweet and Smokey cacophony. Nose: Cinnamon Toast Crunch, butterscotch, cotton candy, cherry Palate: toasty oak and marshmallow, cherry, medium smoke and medium sweet finish.

It’s about to be a great weekend. Your wife woke up early. You step out from your bedroom and smell the sweet savory aroma of brown sugar French toast and maple syrup. Nose: honey, brown sugar, maple Palate: medium mouth feel, small bite on the front of cinnamon and honey. No over powerful grain taste. Medium sweet, light floral finish.

Nose: although bourbon, this smells like a mix of rye and wheated whisky. Doughy and yeasty. Charcoal, green apple, peanut Palate: full mouth with peppery cherry middle and thick syrupy long finish of smoke and oak.

Nose: banana, caramel, cherry Palate: medium mouth feel, oak and mesquite on the front, develops into slight cherry, long finish, approx 30-60 seconds leaves a soft vanilla fade out

Nose: initial burst of cinnamon hot candies but let it breathe and get to light caramel, banana, almost like a banana nut bread Palate: brown sugar, maple, rye pepper

Soft caramel and marshmallow on the front. Very light pepper and sweetness. Savory smoky maple finish.
