big, rich, oily. Peanut/baking spice/Caramel/toffee/tobacco. Great from start to finish

Nose is spicy-rye/baking spice with a pleasant fruitiness, with hints of marshmallow. First sip is rich and oily, rye spice, brown sugar, hints of maple. As if finishes it opens up in the end with some heat which is pleasant. For the price it’s unbeatable.

nose is spice mingled with alcohol, with hints of caramel & vanilla and some floral notes. Taste is sweet with a nice herbal quality which opens up to some heat; once the heat subsided you get a nice hint of mint/citrus to finish.

a great bourbon to have in your stash. exceptionally smooth and rich. silky body with hints of spice to balance out some sweetness.

rich vanilla and caramel, nuances of oak blend into an earthy/herbal finish. drinking it neat, it has quite a bit of heat to it. on the rocks tames the heat and really lets this flavors shine.

Complex rye. baking spice/gingerbread thing going on intermingled flavors of seeded rye bread sweetness. Finish was very floral and pleasant.

There’s a reason this bourbon is so well revered. Another big/rich/oily bourbon with wonderful flavors of vanilla/caramel/tobacco/leather, that all meld amazingly for a full bodied bourbon. Neat or on the rocks, you can’t go wrong with this one.
