I miraculously got a case of this one day a few years ago when the LCBO let their guard down. It is without a doubt my favourite bourbon, and possibly favourite whisky, of all time. Those that describe it as cherry coke are bang on. It’s just got that sweet syrupy taste with strong wood and proof tastes coming through. If you can get a bottle, don’t hesitate for a second.

Great bottle! It’s just bourbon goodness. All the flavours you love and want in a bourbon without any being too strong. Wish it were more readily available in Canada.

Toss up for my favourite of the mainstream bourbons between this and WT101. No tasting notes needed, just go try some if you haven’t. :)

This gets a lot of hype and love but had my expectations a bit too high. While I love it, it’s everything from regular Elijah and then some more, it’s 3x the cost of a regular bottle in Ontario Canada. Just not worth that cost. Would definitely buy at American prices though.

It gets a 4/5 due to price. This is one of my all time fav goto bottles and you never regret a pour. All the proper balances of burnt, oak, caramel, smoothness, and a bit higher proof for good measure. Probably the best first bottle someone can get who’s looking to try a good bourbon.
