Not good. Only for mixing when you want a cheap but solid bourbon

Average bourbon. Good for mixing with stronger flavors, but not for an Old Fashioned.

Nose: Some peach and a European smell I can't place right now. Maybe like a well-aged balsamic vinegar, slightly sweet yet woody. Taste: strong leather and some wood flavors. Not very fruity. Some spice. "Ghost Hill is a “wheated” Texas bourbon at 2 years of age using 53% Texas No. 1 corn, 36% Texas wheat, and 11% American barley all milled at nearby Barton Springs Mill. "

It's been awhile, but I remember it as very drinkable and enjoyable whiskey. Solid pour for every day.

Solid pour. Good sipping bourbon for every day and with friends.

Average nose, some caramel. Very thin on the initial taste. More pleasant and interesting on the follow through but still not a lot of depth or complexity. Some green grass and licorice flavors.

Aweful. Oily and tasting of turpentine. Very hot or spicy, but unpleasant so. Additional tasting and notes: what I originally interpreted as turpentine is becoming a strong floral and cherry esters flavor, similar to an over flavored European cherry schnapps (Kirschwasser).

Spicy and sweet, the port comes through. Some leather.

Lacking interest, not very smooth or balanced. Good mixer.
