Can only buy this in Japan, but I tried it at the Heaven Hill distillery. It MSRP for $40 in Japan but can barely find it for under $200 in the US. Definitely not worth $200 to me. It's a delicious bourbon though!

chocolate notes. tastes a bit like beer but the bouron was finished in a barrel used to distill beer, so it makes sense. It's a nice one sipper, but after that it kind of loses its charm.

First tasting: wow. very yummy. good flavor off the bat. Very fruity. for such a high proof, it's smooth. Second tasting: much stronger now. Added a few drops of water to really bring out the flavor.

Very smooth bourbon. Not much sweetness, but the flavor is still good. It tastes like what bourbon should taste like. It's a good bottle for sure, but it's not worth the tremendous hype. I wouldn't overpay for this but I'd pick up more if it were being sold at MSRP.

Strong from start to end. Might be the most burn ive ever had in a bourbon. Adding four drops of water really opened up the flavors but it was still strong. I tried this bourbon without drinking neat bourbon for quite a while, so I think my opinion it’s a little harsh.
