Tastes

This is my first Jack Daniels experience outside of regular old JD. The nose is sweet and very nice, reminiscent of most higher tier bourbons. Immediately the palate is noticeably creamier than almost any pour I’ve had and that aspect alone makes the pour well worth it. Most reviews of JD products mention the dominate banana flavors, and as soon as I was able to start analyzing the flavor the banans came out in full force. I was reminded of banana bread, bananas foster and even banana peels. All in all I’m happy with the purchase at MSRP but it will remain to be seen whether I’ll replace the bottle once its gone.
